Poject Details
Situated within a thousand feet of the San Andreas Fault, this house was designed to touch the ground as little as possible while remaining expandable and affordable. Designed for a young couple to be able to accommodate the possibility of a growing family, the first phase becomes a base from which other additions can be hung. In a complete build-out scenario of 3,350 square feet, only 22 percent of the house will touch the ground.
